Hi all.I have a site that gets roughly 400-500 hits a day from 90% uk traffic. Whats the best way of monetizing that traffic do you think ? At the moment I'm parking it, but thinking I could probably do more

What type of traffic? What is the average time spent? Bounce rate?

I'm guessing CPA or Affiliate Marketing. Everything can be monetized with CPA if you are creative.

Could you share with us how you're getting 500~ hits a day, where is the traffic coming from primarily?

As for monetization, adsense might be the way to go, if not then check out some affiliate offers in your niche, pick one that you think would fit your website then feature it without making it in your face.

On my blog I write about hosting, web development and freelance related stuff, so I promote Themeforest and link to Hosting affiliate programs.

Throw in a opt-in form on your site and get all this traffic into an email list

cheers all. The traffic is from type in , but its just a short domain name so no keyword as such. Thats the problem really…its not like I know what the visitors are looking for. I guess adsense is probably a good way to go. Maybe i'll build a uk relevant site and go from there.

Hmm. You can actually do more aside from just parking it. You'll already have some fruitful thoughts here on the thread. So, the only thing you need to do is ACT ;)

    Three choices I got for you if I were in your shoe;
    - Put Googel Adsense on the site
    - Place some ClickBank or Amazon products on it
    - or lastly rent the site out on a monthly bases, this is my big shot
oh just remember sell backlinks text or banner ads also on a monthly
    bases.

The last two will keep the money rolling in guaranteed.

    Hope this helps?

Head over to offervaultdotcom (not an affiliate link) ....there you will find many offers that should work well for monetizing your site. Good Luck.

Adsene could be good. Or if the traffic is related to a specific niche you could try finding a clickbank product to promote. Or why not try collective leads in a particular niche. I guess it depends where the traffic is coming from and why they are visiting your site

Google Adsense is good option for you.
also if your domain is related to web hosting.
Hostrica.com affilliate is much better option. Its gives instant commission and high conversion rate.

    Hi Deemainer,

I joined in with all of your fellow forum members
who have admonished you to use adsense to
    monetize that site.

It would be to your benefit, however, to try
to find out what your visitors are really looking
for. Because, if you are not sure, it could be
that the very moment you apply the adsense
    Monetization system/approach that you will
soon begin to lose that traffic.

By the same account, having it sitting there,
and not getting any income from it might
not be an efficient use of your resources.

I was just thinking out loud, Deemainer. :))

    All the very best.

Simply put, you've done the hard bit. Look at the ideas above, and see which one fits your audience best. Do not think of which one is best for you.

Best thing would be to find out what those people visiting your site are looking for and get something put together to get them to opt-in to an email list. From there the possibilities are endless!
