    You don't know why your visitors come to your site? If that is the case, then, as you already mentioned, adsense would be your best bet. If you had even the slightest idea why they visit your site, then you would be much better off and could either promote affiliate products or your own. Best of luck with it.

    If the traffic is "Type in" Then the answer to your question is in the domain name. 400-500 people do not type in a domain daily for no reason at all. Take your domain, just the word or words, not the http://www or the .com at the end and put it into google search and see what comes up

    The money is the list.
    TThe first thing is to identify the niche. The do the following
    1)Add an optin form to get subscribers.
    2)Give out an offer/product which they would not be able to resist.
    3)Build a relationship with your subscribers
    4)Offer a product for sale in your email to them

    You can also offer a CPA

    I would monetize it with google adsense and if possible amazon affiliates. Make sure that your ad placement is optimal to get most out of it.

    I agree either adsense or list building. For list building turn it into a squeeze page and have a optin form put in. If you had something free to offer so they could optin would be a good start. Having said that you need an autoresponder also. The niche most Internet Marketers who do list building concentrate make money niche or how to get traffic.
    UK traffic is good Tier 1 traffic. One more point you could sell your site depending on what trafffic it is.
