It's a phisher email, if you put your login they'll get access to your yahoo account. If you've clicked that link (look at the destination address, it's not Yahoo's I'm sure) then you need to change your Yahoo login ASAP.

Also, its really easy to fake who it appears the email is coming from. You will have to go to the properties to see the real sender.

Its threads like these that make me realize why these scammer continue to phish....because it seems to work

looks like you're in a real trouble, because the scammers got your yahoo id. Better change your home address before it's too late..

Rule number 1: Always look at the email source (if it is html) then u'll know straight away......

If you clicked it, it could've read your yahoo cookie and bish-bash-bosh, they got your I.D....... their English might suck, but their coding could kick ass.

Please send me a check for $1000, and I will give it to Google, and they will turn it into $1,000,000, and I will give you back $500,000 in just one week.

First send me your 'cc' number, bank number, & PIN number.

I will also need your eBay, AOL & Yahoo log-in and PIN.

    Nice catch devin!

"is chosen", in stead of "has been chosen", which anyone who actually works for Yahoo would already know.

Aside from the other obvious clues, anything that comes internally from Yahoo (ie. an employee) does not come from a @yahoo.com email address. It would come from @yahoo-inc.com
