Oh boy, this is really exciting for me!!! I got hold of a couple of Amazon affiliate stores a few days ago... they are really old, (just ask Nintendo, he laughed at me when he saw the script's version), but they are well ranked for their keywords.

I wasn't really expecting any sales from them, and was just using them to get some good coop weight, but I just checked my Amazon stats and I have 3 shipped items for a wonderful comission of $1.57!! :D

Doesn't sound like much... but now I know that there is potential... got to get these babies well-ranked for Christmas!!

Nice feeling huh? I remember the feeling when the first sale showed up :)

Recently, I sold 200 tampax + 200 gillette on amazon from my games site. Im sure many people must have sold stranger and less relevant products than that..

    Anyone ?

I also thought that Amazon sites were waste of time, but if you have one that looks decent you can get some sales.

    Congrats fryman!
I started my amazon webstore as a project out of fun, not really targeted the site, never used co-op weight or any thing else. Still managed to sell a couple of items.

Yes! just checked it, another $1,44 comission on a sale:)

Design Agent: Most strange item sold: Campbell Hausfeld EZ5000 House Painter, some paint machine I'd never seen!

If you promote high paying items, like tools and hardware, you can have some really nice days.

If you're lucky, you can get in ONE DAY...

This quarter is much worse, that's about how much I've made all quarter so far.

I also picked up an amazon store earlier this month just for the coop weight. After I bought it the indexed pages tripled and it started getting lots of hits. So far in 20 days its sold 22 products for a total of $34 commission... not bad. If that keeps up I'll make my money back i spent on the site within just 3 months and still have 5k worth of coop weight to throw around :)
