I make almost $400 a month on my Amazon stores. Another $300 per month with Adsense on the pages that have products that are not available. Nice quarterly bonus! You *can* make some money with them. I can't wait till the holidays. If these are the slow times (and my sales are growing each quarter), January will be nice!

I have never sold any feminine hygiene products though. I bet that was a shocker!

Yeah it wouldn't be so bad if it got hijacked by something really cool like Killer Robots from Space or Women Wrestling in Pudding, but Tampax.

Tampax is an honourable thing to sell Hodge, you can´t joke.
Without that comfort, many women just can´t cope,
You try surfing with a great big pad,
    Ugly and uncomfortable,
    Making you mad!

Thank to Tampax,Women are free,to do what they want,
    Whatever the date might be,
Is it a bad week, who gives curse,
But if he asks me if its my time of the month,
I swear I´ll hit him with my purse.

To be honest, if you want to get involved in the Amazon affiliate business you need to buy a site that's already established.

Starting from 0 will just be very hard

Nice one FRY, chase up some good listing for Xmas.

I put up an AWS at the start of June on a reviews site I bought and I was very surprised how well it did.

It ended up selling a lot of tools and one ridon lawnmower for $1200, sweet.
I sold the site, but in July it earned another $400 from products shipped that were sold in June, amazing for its first month considering how many of these sites are out there.

I have a few AWS sites that I bought for coop weight. Only one has my affiliate link on it but I will be changing the others over this weekend.
For the site I have had a for a while, this month it has averaged 1 sale a day giving me the grand sum of $49.67. This site has 3510 pages indexed by google at present with only ~200 visitors a day.

The strangest item I have sold so far has been hair wraps  , all the rest were books.

I only bought the AWS sites for coop weight not sales but now I am looking forward to getting all the sites optimised leading up to Christmas.

One site is a jewlery site...anyone want to buy a Platinum Certified Princess Cut Cathedral Solitaire Ring (3/4 ct, G, VS2), Size 9 Our Price: $3,300.00 :D
