I need a cheap yet reliable dedicated or VPS host - Please read

I am hosted by 1and1 currently and am constantly getting 400 errors. I have only used 800gb worth of bandwidth so far this month (they sold me 2.5tb worth). They basically said I am causing too much of a server load. because I got 200k hits in a span of a few days and it's causing a server load.

This is on a total of 5 sites on my account causing this. Would I need a dedicated or vps? Price is a factor (the cheaper the better) but not if it effects uptime.

What would you suggest I get for 3 vbulletin forums that each have about 50 users online at a time (each)?

    I need
    -Reputable company
    -Good Price
    -Good uptime
    -Cpanel
    -I don't really need diskspace (5gb)
-1tb transfer (maybe less depending on the answer to the forums)
    -Linux, PHP, MYSQL

I need to move soon, but I have no idea where to go.

My current host doesn't use Cpanel, but I have used it in the past. Some use direct/web admin, no panel, or plesk, but I have never even seen those in action. I am looking at either MyriadNetwork, Iweb8, Lunarpages (My top pick so far) or PowerVPS right now.

If 1tb is too much, can you suggest a dedicated that's pretty cheap? (Like I web8).

I would say you need at least a dedicated and not a low end one.

What's your budget and what type of site do you run? LayeredTech is a great choice.

If you want managed I'd recommend Liquidweb, not the cheapest but they are worth every cent. Unmanaged Layerdtech.
