I need a web based CRM to handle customer emails? Any help?

I am looking for, preferably opensource, CRM to handle customer emails.
We have 2-3 people answering emails that come in to sales@ orders@ info@ etc.

The problem is sometimes 2 people answer the email going to a customer. This looks unprofessional. We are all using outlook express right now.

I am looking for a web based solution so I can see what is happening even if I am not in the office.

    Any ideas?

I'm checking out sugarcrm. I'm not sure it can do what I want.
It looks like maybe it can. But there's a lot more stuff that I don't need.

I'll dig deeper into it and see if it will work.

I need it to be able to read from multiple email accounts on multiple servers.

Does anyone else have any ideas?

I would definately look into SupportFighter.com
which provides great help when answering incomming mail.
Not sure about the CRM part, though...

supportfighter.com goes to some page about spamfighter for outlook express.
I'm not sure what I am supposed to be looking at. I don't see any features that address the questions I asked in the first post. Is there another web url I should be looking at?

I haven't actually tried SupportFighter myself, but I know from several people that it's an extremely powerfull mail-handler for inbound customer mails, as mentioned in my previous post.

    From the products page:
supportfighter.com/Products.asp (I'm not allowed to link yet)

I may have misunderstood you, as I thought you meant a lot of incoming mail, but I see now there's no mentioning of that in your original post.
SupportFighter should however make it possible to see all mails from anywhere in the world, as you requested.

Ranked in order of my favourte CRMs with an email workflow component

    1) MSCRM
    2) Onyx tied with SalesForce.com
    3) Siebel
    4) Peoplesoft tied with Saleslogix

I have a personal computer thats permanently connected to the web so im able to run my own CRM's locally and run mail outs and support tasks with bulk emails etc etc.

The truth is if you want CRM and Email features interlinked, you'll have to go for a setup like mine too :(

    Good luck
