I need advise from you experts regarding my "plan".

Hello,
For quite some time I have loved drawing cars and recently I thought why not give it a shot and sell some drawings via a webpage.
So I got a pretty good domain name which is www.autodrawings.net , and I uploaded some drawings and done a little bit of everything. Still its not all done and print prices are not fully decided yet.

Now I need advise from you pros. Is this a good idea, to sell drawings online? The keywords I will work for is Car drawings is this right or wrong? What about my print prices? What else is wrong or should I do?

Sounds like a pretty neat plan to me.

Don't limit yourself to one phrase. Build a dedicated page for each phrase you optimize for.

You can also sell some on eBay and draw traffic to your site like that, using eBay as a marketing tool.

I think not too many people search for that term though ..
so you may try some other forms of advertising, like buying banners on related sites

Looks like a neat idea. Best of luck to you. Car drawings looks like a decent keyword to focus upon. You could also focus on " Car sketches". Sketches and drawings are the keywords I think, which an car and art enthusiast would like to buy.

Some of your drawings do look good, have to complement you on your skill.

Shouldn't the forth be fourth

 

When you send the print, also send the same one in postcard format, birthday etc.. So your client can send it to his friends/associates. It will have your website address on it as a marketing gimmick.

 

Why not give it a shot if you love doing it I checked out the website, you've sure got talent. The price seems right too, maybe later I will purchase one for my bachelor pad!

You can also consider affiliate programs, though most cost a fair few bucks to enter as a merchant. A bit of negotiating and those fees can be wiped though.

Join something like Commission Junction, or share a sale. Other marketers will send you good traffic, if you make a sale you give the affiliate a commission. Can work pretty well.
