I need help with placement in my tutorials.

Is there any way for me to get around a 10% CTR with my tutorials?

A sample of one of my tutorial pages can be found at:

As you can see, the tutorials end up being very long (vertically) and I'm not sure what to do about increasing the CTR. I don't want to break the page up into multiple pages, because I think users like being able to see the progression as they scroll.

I put adsense at the end so the user has somewhere to go afterwards, but my current CTR with this layout still isn't very good.

Any advice or tips are appreciated.

 

It's tricky to ad those ads without breaking the rules.. hmm...

What your site needs is an actual layout design with colors so you have something to work with.. and blend with..

I read somewhere that the simpler the site, the higher the CTR. I was trying to keep it as basic as possible (black and white), so that the blue links stand out.
