Buying I Need Long Term Article Writers $3 - $4 per article

I need long time article writers to hire on Elance or Guru. I am willing to pay between $3 - $4 for each 500 word article depending on the quality.
Articles will typically be 500 words long, unique and pass Copyscape. You must be able to research and write on any topic though none of the work requires technical writing. These are simple articles for use to drive traffic on websites, blogs, ezinearticles, HubPages etc. In all cases there will be SEO involved and in some cases you will be asked to conform to some form of editorial guidelines e.g ezinearticles.com.
Spun content will be promptly rejected and I can tell an article that has been spun just by reading the first paragraph.
I am only hiring writers on Elance, Guru or any other freelance site I am comfortable with because I will be protected by escrow and so will you. Opening an account at any of these sites is a mere five minutes.

requiring "evidence of competence" seems very unnecessary.I have seen numerous articles made by low-paid freelance writers that are better than higher paid writers.
