    Hi,

I'm having a problem figuring out what the best possible solution is for my current situation.

I have one physical product I want to sell. I want the customer to read about the product, then click the "Purchase button" and be taken to a checkout form within my website design. I've looked into a few shopping carts but I don't know if its possible. (Do I even need a shopping cart? I only have one product...haha. But I do want their checkout form embedded on my website)

    How do I do that?

    Thanks in advance.

you don't need a shopping cart man, just make a "buy it now" button using your pp account (if you are using paypal that is) and embeded the pp button code provided by pp to your site. But you do need to set up a form in your site that your buyers could filled out their shipping addresses and other necessary info for you to ship the item to them. And as for inventory control, you can be creative on that right? cos' you just have one product, should be easiest. But for better conversion, I think you still need some security set up like SSL etc. to let your visitor know that their transactions would be proceeded safely.

    HI,

If you would like to add a PayPal logo to your website follow these steps: You Must Have A PayPal Account...

    1. Go to www.paypal.co.uk/logos
    2. Choose the type of logo you need
    3. Accept the terms of the Logo Centre User Agreement
    4. Copy the HTML code for your preferred logo and paste it into the HTML code for your website

You can create customised payment buttons for your website by following these steps:

    1. Log in to your PayPal account at www.paypal.co.uk
    2. Click ‘Profile’
    3. Click ‘Create a new button’ in the ‘Selling Preferences’ column
    4. Select ‘Products’ or ‘Services’ from the drop-down menu
    5. Select ‘Buy Now’ or ‘Add to Cart button’
    6. Fill in all required fields
    7. Select Step 2 and Step 3 for additional features.
    8. Click ‘Create Button’
    9. Click ‘Select Code’ to select the button code
    10. Copy the HTML code for your button and paste it into the HTML code for your website.

    Hope this helps u.

    Dilla.

Dude, look into Amember Pro. if it's just one page you need then all you have to do is set up that one product in your admin panel, make a salespage that advertises and explains the product, link that page to your sign-up page, and from there they can either pay you through a processor like PayPal or clickbank or if you have a merchant account, they can enter their CC info directly onto the sign-up form. lots of marketers sell individual products this way. plus, if it's a virtual product like an ebook, software, or an mp3, only people who have paid for it will be able to access the link. amember offers a free 30 day trial, but you'll get the nag screen now and then. but i happen to have a solution for that ;) pm me if you're interested.
