I need to increase my CTR!

My clickthrough rate is so low, I'm hardly getting any clicks. My site is getting a good amount of impressions, the number is very sporadic, but my CTR is just extremely low or even nonexistant (no clicks!) on some days. Well, I just need some tips on increasing CTR, and how to blend the ads into my content. By the way, my site is w4t3r.com, and I just want to know where I should blend the ads, and how (as I said). I know I'm asking for a lot, but I really want to start making a solid amount of money each day. Thanks in advance.

Theres not much content so Ad's might not be relevant. Also, the CSS styling makes it so that the ads float an awful lot to the left on a big screen, therefore you don't really see them.

Blend your ads with the content you have, they are too recognizable as ads right now.

    Good luck,
    sam.

Well, 2 things from me. I have a 21 inch monitor, and your google ads (as your navigation bar) are so far away I'd need a passport to get to them - there is no way I'd make the effort to click on them. I'd get everything tight inside a centred table so it doens't take a massive effort to actually physically click on the ads. Also, because of my wide monitor, all your site really is, is background image, which image is a bit annoying (just personal taste I guess, but a background image should fade away, it shouldn't be the most prominent thing on the page.).

Second thing is the site is about so many things that it doesn't have an identity. I'd concentrate on one subject only, which means you'll get people interested in that subject coming to your site (and coming back), and adsense ads relevant to that subject so that visitors might actually click on them.

I would also like to suggest reading through this section of the forum....everything will be repeated here. In addition, take a look at some other peoples sites here, there are some definite talented people.

Also, you did not quite mention what you considered low CTR. Your CTR should be low, if it gets too high then Google will know that your cheating. ;)

Where are you getting your traffic from? If you are getting traffic from autosurfs then forget getting clicks. Your traffic should be targeted.Only then you will get some clicks

Not autosurfs, I'm working on SEO, and I have some other ways to get traffic. I've heard some bad things about that background, looks like it'll have to go. Also, I'll try to tighten things up. Thanks guys! I'll try to put ads in between some of the stuff articles and pages I have written too.
