You can have a look at PHPKB Script. Search for it on google to find its website.

Do you want a professional system that works and is easy to use? All design included? Or are you looking for something cheap that you have to actually build to make work?

Most news sites are custom, or modified systems.

    Hello Samlocalguy,
I am expert on Joomla. So, I can develop the news site using Joomla for you. It will take 7 days and the time depends on the basis of your project details. Thanks.

Wordpress + suitable template will do the job. Think of every post as a separate news.

The United Nations website is using Drupal. Pepsi website is powered by Drupal. Either you choose Joomla or Drupal, both are the best CMS script.

    hi

Vivvo has a strange issue. Your site existence depends on their site uptime. If vivvo is down, then your site admin will also be down as it validates your license code. Recently all sites with Vivo faced this problem as vivvo own site was down.

Hence I decided to drop vivvo. i think expression engine will be best idea but then it does not offer blog.

    Hi Deepblue,
Really thanks for the update. I did not know this. Otherwise I would have dropped Vivvo from my short-lists.

Yeah, ExpressionEngine seems to be better with the only exception that it does not offer any integration with vBulletin.

Are you talking about offering blogs to your users. Then yes, ExpresssionEngine does not allow that. Don't know what's the real problem for them with that. But that's their policy.

By the way, do you have any inputs on ExpresssionEngine's SEO capabilities. Can it be compatible with Drupal ?
