I was playing around with my monitor…

Don’t you just hate when this happens??? I was playing around with the configuration of my monitor and now I can’t get the image right again. Now the screen looks all bent out of shape and no matter what I do I can’t get it all normal again. To make it worse it doesn’t have one of those “return to factory default” buttons to clear the mess I made. Isn’t there a program that helps you configure your monitor??? I think I saw one of those a few years back!!! :D

You'll have to do it manually, using the buttons. I dont htink theres such a software to do it.

I faced the same problem once (8 years back i think), i did it with buttons on the monitor, it did take a lot of time though.

Correct there is No Software if you were actually *Playing with the Buttons on the Monitor Itself*... Usually no way to go back to DEFAULT/Factory Settings that I know of either... I can be wrong, you may need to look around in the Actual Monitor Menu...

You will Prolly have to go back into the *Monitor Menu* itself using the buttons on the Monitor and look through the *pictures* of all the options and find one that looks like what you are trying to correct...

Usually buttons that would allow you to change the setting would look something like this:

    __
    )(
    __

    __
    (|
    __

    __
    |(
    __

If you can understand what i mean!!! :)

I love the new TFTs though, there's a button called AUTO on my TFT which stretches my screen to all the corners of the monitor and adjusts color as well. Just with a press of a button. But i guess you are using a CRT Monitor.

Don’t get me wrong I really like it although it’s CRT. I remember there was a program that you could install in order to help you configure your monitor correctly. Anyway, now the top corners are all messed up and no matter what I do it’s just getting worse.
