Ideal Portfolio?

Okay People,

So i'm taking classes on every aspect of webdesign, from 3D to PHP coding and Animation in flash!

But now they asked me to make a portfolio to display artwork I have done and future artwork ( ofcourse after I have done these )

Now I have always had a struggle with my portfolio, and never even got it filled with work I have done.

I mean look at the piece of sh*t at www.kkportfolio.net. Portfolio part doesn't even work! And I sure did do a whole lot of work, http://kkoopman.deviantart.com and http://klaaskoopman.deviantart.com.
So I am planning on starting over again on a new domain ( yep I will loose the PR4 , perhaps I keep it for linking ) And I'm working on a new design and idea's which I should put in my portfolio.

Now my question to you is:

What would you do for your portfolio, what are total + points to have in your portfolio?

Let me know what your thoughts are on the perfect portfolio!

 

I don`t know what you mean under "points and total" Iam graphic designer and architect and never hear of these. Well, it is me, and we are in different countries.


Anyway, there is plenty resources, only it is hard to find. Maybe start on http:// www. shift. jp.org/

Like what should def. be on them!
