If you had US$1 Billion now, what would you do with it?

I'd divide the money in half. The first half is for investing in my business. The second half is for a trip to Switzerland!

 

I would divide the money into half and use the first half for my living expenses such as getting a house, car, health insurance etc. While the second half would be for starting a business, investment.

 

I would have donated the money to charity.

 

At this moment in time - Setup my own charity named "Anon", where all donations go 100% towards helping others in unfortunate conditions. Rather than just donating money to charity actually go help by hand in 3rd world countries therefore doing missionary work without going back home to save up to fund travel expenses, food costs etc

 

i really would like to deal with homeless issues in our country, setting up homeless shelters, as well as providing them with easy access to programs that can help people to be more then simply a homeless person. - but I assure you $1 billion just wouldnt be enough.... realistically, would need to invest it wisely, such that the revenue from the investments is enough to fund programs that I would want to run.

Without investing it wisely to create an income, any charity work will be limited by funds, and will eventually run out of funds.

 

I would definetely spend half of the money purchasing properties all over the world and some I will rent and earn from there, the other half will put in different banks all over the world and will live on the interests.

Definitely invest in a business and making people's dreams come true. First thing's first...I'm going to disneyworld.

 

I would create an empire to create employment opportunities for the jobless and give back to the society through a charity Kitty.
Of course i can't miss to "eat" a portion of it.

 

Ill spend 30% money for any thing which i and my family want to be, some percentage of amount will donate to people who are really not able to do anything for themselves and their families, and the rest of amount will keep that for rest of the lyf.

 

Investing. You never have enough money. Always more.

 

I totally agree! But remember, try to have some fun in life too.

 

How easy (hard) will it be for some of you to share your hard earned money? Also, do you think sharing becomes easier if you're a millionaire or a billionaire?

 

i would invest more money for social development activities, open trust and donate to orphanage or phy. challenged org.
