I would also do the same. It is better to search a better job than surviving the insults and the deception of the boss.

 

This is usual in the business life. You can never find a perfect boss.

 

I think you would just have to leave the company. But try to talk to someone who's a senior first... Even someone from the Citizens Advice Bureau may be able to help you, if you're in the UK that is.

Well if my boss cheats me, its easy.. beat up his weak ass.

 

there are lots of company around. if you feel like you are abused then go away, look for another company

Being taken advantage of as an employee for his profit is not exactly the same as cheating. In business one seeks to take advantage of any opportunity or measure to increase profits, and yes, this may be at the expense of staff at some point. I am not saying I approve or condone as I don't know the facts, I am saying that is part of business.

I am amazed at all the irresponsible responses in this thread.
How about actually sitting down with him and discussing the issue? Preferably after work time, when he and you can discuss quietely or at a scheduled time if you wish. That said I prefer to do this unannounced.
You are just there for a month so do not expect premium treatment. Also, you have a manager role, which comes with a certain degree of accountability and responsibility, leaving like that without discussing makes me think you should never have been appointed said position.
if others left they may have simply been sheep looking to follow others who influence them, you should make up your own mind and get the facts and the only way to do that is to confront your boss directly in a polite manner and ask him for your personal issues that affect you personally. In the end, no one else pays your bills but you..so only you can make the decision. Others are not going to help you with financials when you get up and leave. So choose wisely with the facts/wisdom/knowledge at hand.

 

I think you must focus on the work, if you are giving him a good business, then of course he will be impressed by you and if still he is with the same attitude with you. Kindly LEAVE !

 

Anything is bound to happen in any place of work. You just have to learn how to keep a good relationship with your boss.
