I'm told that this site looks spammy

Someone I respect told me that www.buy-links.com looks spammy because of the Adsense. Should I make the background white? Kind of like www.seo-search-engine-ranking.com ? By the way both sites perform equally in case you were wondering.

 

To me it looks fine .... 3 ads / page looks fine

 

A different header might change it alot - something a little more custom

doesnt look spammy to me, but to the eye its no very appealing add some graphics in your header, etc.... juice it up a bit stand out and you will do great.

 

The box at the top of the single posts is a bit much. On my laptop, I had to scroll down a full page just to read the rest of the article. If I found your site via a search engine, and when I clicked on the link it took me to the single page and not the front page, and all I saw was this box ad sitting in the center of my screen -- well, I probably would be outta there.

Otherwise it looks okay.

 

I know the header is ugly, but that's a bigger issue. I could easily change the Adsense color pattern, but a new creative header would take either time or money...

So do you think the ads look OK? Or does it look like they need a color change?

 

Oh yeah, for got about that. I was only thinking about the homepage, but yeah that box is spammy. I'll add it to my list - I should really change the single post layout...

 

To me it looks good too, but i personally prefer the ad to be blended well into the content and to be borderless.

 

To me that's actually more spammy (the blending) but I will try it and see what happens.

You mean the site the way it is now? Honestly, a few more words is all it take to make your post useful and get some green rep from me.

 

It kinda reminds me of all the .info turnkey article sites sold in the marketplace for $15-25. A nice design would do wonders.
