Image Effects In Illustrator

    Is there a book and/or dvd that you would suggest for learning how to get digital effects in illustrator. Things like the Web 2.0 colored layers over text, or drop shadows, glowing effects, and other things. I know I could make the image in Illustrator then edit it in Photoshop, but once done the image can't be scaled to a larger size than the original anymore. I'd like to be able to create these effects and still have the image in vector format.

    Just do a google for illustrator tutorials :)

    There are thousands on the tinterweb :)
