Image gets lighter when uploaded! Why?

    Hi, ive uploaded an image to my site but it gets lighter when uploaded.. When you go to the image root, you can see it in the right colour but when you see it in the site, its lighter..

    Does anybody know what could happen?

    The image url is www.grabfla.com/images/GrabFla.png

    and the site is www.grabfla.com

    You can see that the image gets lighter..

    It's a thing that Photoshop does when you save it

    Take a screenshot and save it with a different program

    if your using photoshop, take a screens hot of your website and then with the color picker select the bg of the website. then apply it to the image and save it.

    Also when using the color picker make sure the little box saying web colors only is ticked.

    if you need help just ask.

    rofl its not lighter its an optical illusion.
    It only looks darker here http://www.grabfla.com/images/GrabFla.png because the background around the image is white.

    When you look at the same image here http://www.grabfla.com/ it looks lighter because the background is black and the image is very dark grey (but lighter than the background).
