Import Export business information please!

Hey all,

I'm very interested in the Import Export business, especially finding out it's worth a yearly $1.2 Trillion!

I think I've grasped the concept, you either import something to your country, and sell it to shops, wholesalers?

Or you export something out?

Is there a way to import something in and have it delivered directly to the shop etc that wants to buy your product?

How would I get started in this line of work?

How can I do this with minimal investment (Letter of credit?)?
($1.5K max)

What do you recommened? I dont mind where I import them from, as long as they are easy to sell and legal as mentioned above.

Wholesale, I don't own a shop etc and I have no intention of doing so!
