Yes it is, but the grand jury must have thought enough was there for the indictment in the first place.

I doubt anyone will go to jail or be convicted.

Not backing him up, but a resignation in itself does not equate to guilt ;)

He lied to a grand jury under oath. 5 counts ea with a 5 year possible jail sentance. No excuse for lieing under oath, good riddance "scooter".

I agree actually, I personally do feel he will be found guilty but until a jury decides it he's not guilty or been convicted :)

lol yes it has been, and it's almost shocking to see right wingers 'many of whom trashed Clinton for lying under oath' defend Libby saying if they can't get him on the original investigation he should get nothing. Yet didn't they use the exact opposite argument on Clinton? Wow how opinions do change when it's someone on your side.

I've noticed that a lot also, there was a lot about what a bad guy joseph wilson is too, and how his wife was posing in playboy secret agent addition before everyhting, so there was no crime etc etc

I wonder how much crooked stuff this will reveal

    Are you sure about that?

Right now, he should step down. If he's actually convicted, he should be punished. There's no excuse for what he's accused of, whether republican or democrat.

I agree, I was not talking about anyone on the threads but many republicans I've watched in interviews over the past few weeks of whom I remembered during the Clinton saga saying the exact opposite. So yes I am certain of it :)

I'm sure this is just an isolated case and is not a reflection of how the rest of the Administration operates.

Thanks for reclarifying. As your memory seems to be fresh, what republicans do you call saying this in recent interviews you've watched over the past few weeks, that you also recall saying the opposite during the Clinton saga. It's always good to know who has double standards when it comes time to vote.

I knew you were going to ask that, to be honest I am not very good with names with the exception of 'big name players' I remembered them simply because during the Clinton Saga I was on the republican side of things and thought back then they did a very good job. I believe at least one of them no longer is even in office, I however would be glad to list the names if I can remember them, or better yet find the quotes.
