Intersect 2 images in photoshop, how??

I guess this should be simple, but I couldn't manage it :(

I have 2 images, I put image2 on top of image1 but some part of image2 is out of image1 boundary, the result I want is image1 merged with image2 but only the intersected image2 overlays image1.

Hope it's clear enough, I'll post the example if it's not clear. Thanks.

If you're looking to blend one image into another (Example: image1 is a background, image2 is a person you'd like placed in the background). You'll need to place them in separate layers and use the eraser (airbrush) tool to delete the edges smoothly. Posting up an example would make the explanation more clear :)
