    I'm starting an article site...

What are the difference's between the two... similiar price points?

Also which one can handle a large author/user base?

Or do you guys think an opensource solution would do the trick?

I found that evoArticles seems to have more features, but ArticleLive has news support. I personally use evoArticles 1.x on a site with ~4500 articles, ~150 categories, and over 35,000,000 pageviews. No problem, the caching system takes all the load. I say 1.x because the newer 2.x version has more features and is faster I just havn't upgraded yet. articlemanagement dot com has a comparison of the big 3.

And the cool thing about interspire is that the first license is $200, afterwards it's just $89 per license.

IMHO, articlelive is definitely a superior product, though adding an article in articlelive takes a lifetime. On the other hand, adding new content in evoarticles is a breeze, but then it doesnt offer as many features as articlelive.

I am considering ArticleLive but one of the things I need is to be able to import RSS feeds from Yahoo and Fox Sports. I know that you can set up ArticleLive to create RSS feeds from your own site but I have looked all over to see if it can import RSS feeds and can't find anything. I sent an email to interspire and also asked the question in their Presales forum but no response yet. Does anyone know if ArticleLive will handle Yahoo or Fox Sports feeds?

    Thanks
