Ok, first of all thanks for the help on the portuguese games forum. (i'll change stuff there during weekend)

Now for a more realistc thing, and this one I hope it gets peoples attention.

    http://investmentfaq.blogspot.com/

It's in English, targeting any kind of investor, but still i need feedback on adsense. How to improve, what to add, what to remove, etc.

    Thanxx in advance once again.

On the right you have Google Adsense under neath the lable 'Archives', which I think is against the ToS (lableing ads with anything other than "sponsored links", etc).

Thanks. I'll add some kind of splitter there, just in case. ;)

Bring the width of the sidebar on the right closer to the actual content, it seems too far out. I agree with shamess you need to move the adsense out of the "archive" section so as not to confuse people.

Possibly change the 468x60 to a 728x90 & put it in the posts instead of above it.

I would also experiment with a link unit & also experiment with your colours as the standard black ads don't blend in too well :)

Done. I forgot part of the text on the downside and put the ads in the middle.

    Any more feedback please?

Similar to what adwordaffiliate was saying, maybe you could experiment with one of the box ads somewhere in your content.

Yep, much better. Like I said though make the width of table on the right smaller. Or at least align the ads to the left. They seem all alone over there, need to be closer to the content for more clicks....

    Colours work well though.

I personally would be making the main table 728 in width to match the top banner & make the right column 160 in width to match the skyscraper :) That'll neaten things up a bit.

The best thing you can do to improve CTR is to move the vertical ad unit to the left side of the page.

You guys make me learn CSS  and I thank you 4 that  , but just not that fast... :p

Ads aligned to the left (all side bar in fact) :)

I'll shrink the body laters and also take a look on the moving of the side bar to the left.

** Thinks of buying a CSS book... **

BTW - 24 hours later and the ads aren't still blog related... I wonder...

On a Safari browser your top adsense block is overlapping your 'links" area.
    Hope i've helped.

    Thank you. Obrigado. ;)

Safari Browsers are getting more and more important, so I must pay attention to CSS. I use Opera and crappy IE, but still I need to test stuff with FF and Safari at least.

    Saudações Tugas. :p

I use Safari and I love it

If you switch your template to something like "Minima," it will be much easier to manipulate the CSS and move the nav bar to the left side of the page.

    Content and layout updated, but...

when I open the blog at

    http://investmentfaq.blogspot.com/

I still don't see targetted ads, but if I go to June archive at

    http://investmentfaq.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_investmentfaq_archive.html

    ads are targetted.

Can some1 tell me why and comment on layout again?

    Thx

    Thanks.

Vertical ad added there between the Links and the Previous posts.
Blend is more or less ok now IMO, but can be little improved.

    I'll work on it. ;)
