Is Digg the best social book mark?

Ive used many I here digg is best although I use most all I see that Digg social climbs higher faster in Google does anyone agree or know of a bettwer social book mark?

 

I believe it is. I have almost a dozen that I open up in tabs frequently.

 

I use around 20 social sites but i agree most of the traffic comes from digg, then stumble upon.

I find StumbleUpon a lot better over all and know a lot of others who believe the same, it brings a lot more traffic overall because it will bring a constant stream of for many months... unlike digg's famous server busting hoards of traffic followed by nothing.

Digg is very good.It is one of the most popular social book marks, and if your article is popular enough, it will get you great traffic

 

yea its a good one..but personally i feel stumble is the best!

 

Lets say you have an account on Digg, Reddit and StumbleUpon with the same amount of friends and status and submit something that would be considered "medium" popular (nothing amazing, but not straight spam) i have found that StumbleUpon sends the most traffic, then Reddit then Digg. Its hard to get ahead on Digg without a lot of friends and a high ranking account.

 

I also have had great results with StumbleUpon and Reddit.

 

I find Digg and delicious about the same

 

CanJohn I like stumble although even after using it I dont see the much of it in Google the way Digg does....

when ever I use digg I make sure to twit it with Twitter....then I go with myspace, mixx, feed friend....these are new to me also pownce is a good one.... A few of my comrades were suggesting dIGG to be the monster of all social.....

as you mentioned streams of traffic from stumble! I haven't seen that? also what encourages you to believe this?? what application or analytics show this?? how can you see how much traffic stumble is bringing in? lol

 

No its not. Stumble its the best. You get no traffic from digg. Use Stumble

 

I use stummble but where your proof it is better then Digg??? please explain if you may.............

 

Well my site Check Page Rank gets a lot of traffic from StumbleUpon. See its Alexa rank~~ And many converts too eventhough they are not webmasters.

Digg and stumbleupon draw maximum traffic but stumbleupon traffic doesn't seem to convert. They just come to your site and give you a mercy look.. Lol... Kidding.

 

I think I just don't use digg to its full extent. Do you guys feel you digg is worthwhile because you're getting upcoming and front page listings? I just can't seem to break 20-25 diggs per story.

The other thing I dislike about digg (and again, maybe I'm doing something wrong) is that I have about 90 friends on the site and I digg every shout I get, but when I shout I'm lucky if I get 3-5 diggs back. I also don't do more than one or two shouts per day. Is this a problem you guys have as well?

 

The visitors in these networks just come and out very fast, we don't need these traffic, but it help our content index on SEs faster and get a higher rank.

All social bookmarking sites are pretty good.Depending on your niche, identify which 5 sites are suitable for you.For my blogs I find reddit is most useful as compared to digg. number two is stumbleupon
