    My father uses facebook/twitter to attract viewers to his blog. He says that it can be very effective and that 90% of his traffic comes from social media.

    if u have big pages or a popular account that got much followers then you can get huge visitors daily from Facebook. I know a man who got 800k pages and a website. He converted 40k visits on his website in 3 days.

    Facebook can help you to get targeted visitors to your site for sure!
    It's the most popular social media site, so it's seems logical.

    Everything depends on how you interact and what content you share.

    You can also create a Facebook page as well
    and get really great insights on how it's performing!

    And there is an option to configure PPC campaign to get targeted visitors to your site.
    This is paid traffic technique, but it's worth of your time in my opinion!
