Is Facebook the only social network for business? have competitors?

I think facebook,twitter,google+.myspace,yotube are very better side.

 

It is a nice and attractive medium for business.
More traffic ,more strong platform for business.

New competitor pinterest and old competitor is twitter.

 

Twitter Myspace, LinkedIn, G+ are all great business tools

 

actually every business has some competitors.in social media network some sites are compete strongly with facebook such as twitter,google+ etc.

I think Facebook is not good for business, because this social site is more often used to establish friendships and relationships only.

 

i think stumble upon and google+ is better place for business purposes. There are huge traffic.

 

There are many other social networks for business like linkdin and twitter is the biggest competitor.

Facebook is now more of Advertisement then any other social networking site that's why Google+ will have bright future ...

It's a good way to promote and market the products and services that you offer. Google+ and Twitter can go hand in hand when you use social media in building online marketing.

 

I think all ACTIVE social networks can be turned into a traffic source and used for business. The only thing is some respond better than others to some niches. Like for example you have a funny blog/meme site than tumblr can get you good traffic on the other hand if you try to promote a host there you wont get more then 1 visitor i think even thats too much.

 

Pinterest is the site I like the most after Facebook. It's not a completing with Facebook but offers something different and refreshing altogether.

I thinks face book in not very good for large businesses. it may be for some little type of businesses, of course there many competitors, for example, Google+, twitter, linkedin.com, myspace, youtube etc.

 

Yes, that's right, Pinterest is a new competitor that will become really important especially concerning online shopping.

 

I think each social network has its own feature (so pros and cons), and depend on which business model I run, I will choose the most appropriate Social network to promote (Ex: Pinterest seems to work better for women, Twitter aims at mobile user, Linkedln for working and professional career network, etc)

 

I Know that there is a social network called Toolbox that is meant for IT Guys. might be something to look into.

 

There are many social networks available for your business promotion like Pinterest, Stumble etc and Google+ and Twitter are world known networks for marketing purposes, where you can post your brands for advertisement.
