You can, but its not going to get you very much traffic, especially if what your looking for is targeted traffic.

I always thought that what we want out of SEO ultimately is traffic, isn't it? If you can get more traffic thru it, then I say yes.

I could said yes while the quality content of the website do measure with your site integration with visitors through social media as well.
