For the most part its fine. The only problem is that it may not do everything you want it to do like the larger more customisable packages out there

I think there are lot of companies like this ..
    http://www.xero.com/
This is also quite famous online...
As it is all your fiscal financial data's i would recommend to have an accounting software at your place and maintain it

As perfectblue said, It's probably best if you can purchase accounting software rather then using the free online stuff. It's more dependable and more trust-able/secure.

Well why wouldn't it be trustable? Will it send your client list to your competitors or what? Sometimes free software are better than purchased :)

Yeah, I know what you mean but there are so many scams out there now-a-days. If you were to put your financial information online to an unsecure website, you're screwed.

Does it do what you need it to do? If so, then use it. Just because its free is no reason to be afraid of it.

You can Trust more rather than other free accounting softwares. It is too secured site to maintain your accounts with SMS control and eBay tracking service.

Yes, I'd say so! However, I wouldn't choose a free accounting application that hasn't had any recent development activity.

Mint might be a good solution, I'm not familiar with it, however, having been an Account Executive for Sage Software for 5 years, I can tell you that Peachtree Software is an excellent out of the box accounting solution for a small to medium sized businesses. Just be sure that the accountant you work with is familair with Peachtree and you should be good to go.

I would say yes. Only because I have typically been able to search for a link for free QuickBooks Pro whenever I have needed one for a business. Not sure if the holes have been plugged yet or not.
