Is Getting a like the Hardest Thing On Digital Point forum?

The temptation to do so is enormous as they make it so damn easy. But sometimes I will try to help them also. It gets to be a real tug of war sometimes. Do I poke fun at them, or do I help them?

 

Poke fun first definitely. Then help later.

 

For spammers, it is really the hardest thing. That's why it was implemented.

 

Thank you for this thread, I am a newby here and am actually looking for advice and help, not seeking to give it, because I don't know to much about blogs and such. I want to post in the Services forum but cannot due to the restriction. I actually like the idea of establishing yourself as legit on this forum. It gives me comfort to know that once I am a valued member I can have confidence on the help I hopefully receive.

So my question is how do I get established if I have no area of expertise to impart on this forum?

I've purchased a domain, set up Wordpress and installed Woo theme on my own, but thats the extent of my knowledge and accomplishments technically. I need help from this point out with Sliders and ecommerce ect.

Exactly, mate. I like your way of thinking. It's great to read other people's views, have a knowledge exchange, learn something new. Once in a while, it's amusing to read people's snivellings, too.


What kept me here? I have to admit, I disappeared a few times, but always eventually came back. Now I am here to stay, I think, as the forum seems to be a better place now. (Especially with a funny bear.)

 

The problem is that in Adsense forum there are all newbies , seeking help noone has a three likes himself

That explains it, I am fine with it but just want to get rid of this low feature stuff Can't even link to Adsense support page

So what? Giving likes is a bit like earning likes. It's a selfless act. Such as myself (and I am sure I am not alone), I give likes when a post is good, useful, even if not directly for me. "Think not of what someone can do for you, but what you can do for other people." Neigh botha to get laiks, laik howwe. (As might be said in the area I live.)

 

Yes kinda hard if you are not talkative and just like to read. Actually my third like was given to me by Spoiltdiva. Was happy, just for a bit, because the cluster rollback came and ate it. LOL.

 

The greedy cluster rollback "ate" a pile of mine as well, i don't know how many as i don't keep track of them, but just to answer the OP's question "Is Getting a like the Hardest Thing On Digital Point forum?"

I think it's a good thing to get 3 likes before spamming Buy/Sell thread with load of crap.

 

Ive noticed that there are a lot less spam posts too. but no matter how hard I try to help people I cant seem to get my last like.

also, how do you dish out likes to other people? Ive seen a few posts that were worth a like, but I cant figure out how to do it - maybe you need to be established before you can give out likes, like slashdot?
