is it Good to Have Forum in the Domain Name for Forum Site

    I am planning to start a forum..Just wondering whether it would be good to have "forum" in the domain name? or it does not matter...

    I got couple of domain names available ..

    1. Domain with Short name ending with labs.
    2. Domain with long name ending with forum..

    Just wondering which one to go for?

    forum is a good keyword so having it in a domain is good as well.

    Not really necessary. It's incredibly easy to rank for "keyword + forum" without it.
