What do you think about ticketing companies who charge extra fees like convenience charges for purchasing tickets online?

It has something to do with supply and demand. When demand is high, companies are willing to sell their merchandise for lower prices (and with no fees). The opposite is true. In this market, companies try to do all they can to stay afloat. Charging higher prices and fees is the only way for some of them to survive.

    No.

If I have to print the bloody ticket, it should be cheaper.

It's all been automated but the prices are higher. I never understood why they charge a service fee for a web purchase. No one is doing the work. They are incurring additional costs by me making an online purchase. Last month I flew to Manila to see Linkin Park in concert and I had a $10 online service charge...and for what? It's an elaborate way to line the coffers a bit more.
