    i am interested in buying a script at script66.com ..I did a whois, since website had no phone number, address or aboutus page., only an email address.

    address is PMB and registered to domainsbyproxy.com

    its not a proxy site but its registered to hide the owners information..

    if you buy with a CC you can always do a chargeback or if you are paying by paypal its pretty safe.

    well a lot of people dont run websites from their offices. they run it from their home and would want to protect their home address/phone.

    from what i see, they use paypal and it should be safe.

    I agree with Shah2k. Most people do not want thier personal info all over the net. You get put on every mailing list and phone call list.

    Credit card and paypal is best option in case you need to get money back.

    It's normal for people to sign up domain privately (prevent identification theft). Anyways, I would request information to make sure they own it before purchasing.

    I like to use PayPal for deals like this- you should be able to get insurance and you won't have your cc # floating around.

    No. those sites are real unproblematic for hackers to raft with to delay on the safe select, i would n`t do it.
