Is my AdSense underperforming?

    Last month:

    593,539 impressions
    0.14% CTR
    815 clicks
    $0.32 / click
    $266 / month

I have just compared these numbers to Shoemoney's famous check. He obviously had much higher volume, but his CTR & payment per click figures were both significantly higher (0.93% & $1.06).

    The main differences are:

    1. Shoemoney's figures are several years old & no doubt a lot has changed.
    2. My figures are based on a food related website. Obviously some industries (ie. ringtones) pay higher per click than others.
    3. Shoemoney's focus was generating revenue from AdSense. I'm trying to grow my website & have tried to keep ad units as separate from content as possible to maintain a highly desirable user experience.

Given this, how do these numbers compare to the rest of you? Do you have any tips for increasing revenue without killing user experience? Matching Shoemoney's CTR even at my lower CPC will see me increase revenue by more than 600%.

    Thanks guys.

Personnally my numbers are different because I cannot settle for a CTR less than 5%, but my average CPC is always ABOUT $0.1, more or less.
I don't think that having a high ctr ad is killing user experience, but that's me.

So far I know, you are not allowed to publish your earning details; like impressions, CTR etc.
