Is MyBlogLog worth it?

I still see this on many blogs - for those of you who use it...does it actually do anything in regard to visibility/traffic, or has it dwindled down over the past few years?

 

In my niche and with my site the traffic from MyBlogLog hasn't been substantial.

 

for me yes... you must be active to contact your friend network...

 

I host some diehards who insist that they have it on their sites. When I had it, I may saw a inbound or two every month. Heck, I still see that and I no longer have the code up there.

 

It's useful if you have the spare time to take care of it every now and again, but not insanely important.

 

I know some people get their traffic from MyBlogLog however t requires continuous work thats why I don't use i

 

Gotta go with automation... mybloglog adder and mass messenger I can help you if you need it, but chances are with this software you won't need any more help

 

MyBloglog is good for backlinks, but never been good for me to receive much traffic

That is a great piece of software, thanks for sharing the link. This really makes MyBlogLog a useful marketing area.

 

In my case, it didn't help to bring much traffic to my site, and also it takes alot of time to work on, so only go for it if you have enough spare time

 

There are also other blog networks like NetworkedBlogs in addition to MyBlogLOg, BlogAdda etc.. I havent used either of them so far, but it looks like a good idea to me, a directory of blogs where people can keep track of particular subject blogs. But then again, they are more likely to use google blog search to arrive at blogs.

 

I have all my blogs on it and I get a lot of traffic from it and there are some nice women who are my friends on it.
It is Yahoo based.

 

I think the key isn't just adding your blog to it, but also adding friends and contacts on there as well. The more people who know you have a profile and know your blog is on there, the more willing to visit.

 

its really a great help for newbies, just try to add as many friends(just check there members page for new members and add them) as you can and see your traffic grow!
