Well it's truly up to you. I have a myspace account as well and I rarely use it.
If you're not too busy then I suppose you should keep it.
IF you know that you aren't ever going to use it then maybe you should get rid of it, if that's what you want to do.

There are still a lot of myspace accounts out there but they are used a lot less than FB (Alexa data shows that visits to FB last x7 the amount of time than Myspace).

That all depends on you..if it is a personal account, why not keep it..I still have my myspace account and use it occasionally.

MySpace is basically dead, i really wouldn't bother with it at all. I haven't logged into my account on there for ages.

I certainly don't think it will do any harm! Depends on how you are using it I guess. However I do believe that My Space is dying from the strong competition and dominance of Facebook these days!

I hate Myspace, but I don't see a point in deleting my account. Really, unless you're super paranoid, you shouldn't have a reason to remove it.

I'd try to sell it of, aged accounts can still fetch a little bit of $$.

But besides that, it's useless no one really uses MS anymore.

I'm hearing conflicting reports here. For the people who say they get traffic from myspace...how have you found are ways to use it effectively? How much effort do you put in and what kind of traffic do you get out? And what kind of website are you promoting?

MySpace seems to have a different demographic from Facebook, which is much broader now, and I'd imagine it would be better for certain types of sites than others. I know a lot of musicians still use it effectively for promotion but I'm not sure about other businesses or websites. I put a little effort into it (not much) and I've only ever seen one visit from myspace to any of my sites--and it was from myspace messenger, someone evidently sending something to a friend about it, not anything I did.
