    Also, if you are doing it yourself, will you have the patience to see it through! Posting consistently, with relevant content is a good free way to advertise but as with anything, commitment is key.
    Agree with fellow comments, done correctly, there is no reason why advertising on social media cannot be effective as long as all the variables in place are in harmony with one another.
    For example, the right target audience, the correct age group, the timing of the posts, the relevancy and so forth.
    It can take time, but have big dividends.
    Plus if doing yourself, and you enjoy it and you just love posting (good stuff of course) then why not!
