    Hi!

I am looking for software to do some basic graficdesigns but i don't have the money to buy Photoshop and my free test trial is already over.

Does anyone know of a software like that that is free?

I posted this reply in another related thread & felt is was appropriate here to.

    Have you tried GimpShop yet?

GIMPshop is a modification of the free/open source GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP), intended to replicate the feel of Adobe Photoshop. Its primary purpose is to make users of Photoshop feel comfortable using GIMP.

Due to the changes to the interface, many Photoshop tutorials can be followed in GIMPshop unchanged, and most others can be adapted for GIMPshop users with minimal effort.

You can get it here: www.gimpshop.com

I figured if you wanted a free opensource Raster/Paint tool that feels more like photoshop, you may be more interested in GimpShop

I would also recommend Paint.net, it's UI is better than GIMP, I guess ;)

    As You can read:
Paint.net IS FREE, also open sourced. They charge nothing.

Adobe Creative suite costs +- 900$. Why do You even try to compare it by the price, when one of it hasn't one?
