Is there a program out there that makes PDF files

    OK, not sure how to put this. I want to place some ads in newspapers for my website but I must submit them using a PDF file, anyone here recommend a product to use (preferably very inexpensive, lol). I will be very novice so the easiest product to use will be best. Thanks!

    photoshop, illustrator, indesign etc.
    you have the option to save it as .pdf

    dvirhazout is correct, that's the easiest/best way to do it, but if you're using other software, like MS Office (hope you're not creating ads in Office, but if you are...) there are plugins you can get on the web that will create pdfs for you. Don't know if any are free, but here's a link to some:

    I've used the one called "Jaws PDF", works great, doesn't cost much.

    Use Openoffice. Its free and can export as PDF's.

    I can also vouch for Cute Pdf - you can get a free version on the website and you just download a converter which is also free. I use it all the time. Not sure about editing existing pdfs though.

    Just wanted to comment on Photoshop: It's hard to make PDF files with pages if you're not familiar with the program itself. For 1 page files, it's really easy.

    Most programs can either "Export" your files in a .PDF format. If you don't see the option to do so, then check doing it through "Save as". You don't need a specific program to make your .PDF files. Solution is a lot cheaper than you imagined.
