    This is what i do for my business account using twitter :

    1) Create a twitter account with your business topic as username
    2) Go to wefollow.com and look for tags that are related to your business. Follow the followers of the user who is most popular in that tags (this is call cross follow). You are now building followers which have same interest as you.
    3) start seeing you followers grow and build relationship with them by tweeting related topic to your business.

    After your followers grow more than 100 you will start seeing response from your followers.

    twitter is good for mass communication from a company
    linkedin is a facebook for professionals to network

    they each fulfill a different aspect and each should be used for maximum impact

Companies , jobseekers , employers all are there to socialize like minded professional people from across the world. Also here you may make your profile adding all your details , experiences etc .
