Is there cigarette addicted DP members?

I come from 2 families of chain smoking alcoholics so I don’t do either. It seems like when you grow up in environments like that you either do it yourself or don’t do it at all, very rarely does it look like a middle ground.

Growing up in a little town there were only 3 things to do: fuking, fighting, and drinking.

Now I don’t even fight so all my energy and vices goes into one thing.

 

LOL! What a bad addiction!

 

When I tell people 4-6 times a day they don't believe me.

Then I have to say, "Listen, I don't smoke, drink, do drugs, drink coffee, drink cokes very often, or even watch much TV. I have to have something to fill all that time in and have some kind of addiction."

 

I still deny my addiction. Every few months i stop for a week or two just to prove myself that i still can.

 

I've lasted a day or 2 w/o a smoke, does that count

 

Riding a bike isn't an addiction.

 

Nah cos first 3 days are the hardest.

 

Oh yea it is. I cant go to sleep without having to ride it around the house. I wake up in the middle of the night just so i could have a quick ride. Its slowly destroying my life. I always carry one with me just in case. Im banned from many pubs and clubs because of some stupid "no bike riding in the club" rules.

 

I smoke LOADS.

I just found out my Grandad has cancer though and is having a tough battle with it, so ummm that should pretty much convince me to stop.

So why am I still sat here puffing on a cancer stick?

I'm beyond help!

 

This summer I was up to about half a pack a day (stupid friends got me addicted.. grr), I started to realize that it was really affecting my hockey / tae kwondo so I quit a couple months ago. One of the hardes't things I've ever done.

 

Pack a day smoker.... but if I go out you can add another pack onto that. Alcohol and cigarettes go so well together

I usualy smoke 3-4 packs in a day and I never throw a single packet away.

and talking of smoking I just recalled a joke-
one day my friend said - "You know webby, Smoking kills slowly"
I said - "So what?? Who the hell is in hurry??"

 

hockey /tae kwondo sounds like the most awesome sport ever. Do they let you guys kick with skates on?

Oh hell yeah if it's a party night I can smoke more, all depending on how good or bad the party is.

Nope never been to a tea party, that was just an elaborate plan to get you to admit you go to tea parties and it worked. HAHAHA. tea party goer.
