    I know I didn't answer the question or even give my opinion, BUT HOLY SMOKES look at all those options. Back in the 1950's there was dating and marriage.... and guess what... Those marriages stayed together.
    OK, I'll give my opinion... you're doing it wrong.
    Forget about making commitments. Date who you want to date. If you happen to repeatedly want to date the same person and he happens to repeatedly want to date you over a decent period of time, you have a match and should consider marriage.

    In the end, it all comes down to matter of opinion.

    Because if he was just checking you out (( personality/looks)) then he is rightfully allowed to see other girls as you are other guys (whether you want to or not).

    If he truly loved you at first glance, then you both would know it and both think and take necessary actions to be with eachother ^.^
