Is this ia enough for a social network to start running

    I have created a social network.(domain name will said later) that has the following features
    1.Blogging, people can add their advertisement(adsense or whatever it is,links to their web pages)
    2.Groups, create your own group with group blog,group members,group events,etc,etc...
    3.Bookmarks. Make any number of bookmarks. user can make the bookmarks either private or public
    4.Files. upload any file,either keep it for urself or share with your friends or share with any one.
    5.Videos
    6.Photos
    7.create pages like Wikipedia.Give the power of editing the content to the public(this feature is not their in blogs)
    8.The wire. identical to twitter. user can also integrate with twitter by posting the tweets whatever they tweet in the wire.
    9.they can listen to music while they are logged in to the website.
    10. import contacts from any network
    11.messaging

    Please say your suggestions. Is this is enough are something has to be added.

    What is your reason for starting a social network?
    If it's "money" I think your odds are stacked against you.

    What you have just described is a clone of other clones of other clones of other social networking websites.
    Market is full buddy.

    Every blog or group must have a "similar sites" list in order to trade traffic.

    - The links must be dynamic, not hard links, in order not to pass PR.
    - The user must be able to sort the sites the way he wants to.
    - You must provide google analytics stats. The user will use the goals feature in order to sort manually the sites.
    - The links must be text links and the title must be the site's title. Forget about small icons, usernames and other bs.

    The best thing you can do, is to allow to add on these lists not only blogs/groups from your network but from all sites.

    You can also provide these lists as a widget to be included in any kind of site.

    Remember that traffic trading is the only real way to produce traffic and traffic is the only thing that matters.
    Do that and your network will be on top very soon.
