Is traffic from digg any good?

As my hosting provider offers me not the greatest bandwith amount i am not sure if digg traffic can be or is targeted and can it be waist of time. Just wanted to know peoples views on this

I'm always hearing about having enough band width, or not. I never understood that. Does the question even need to be asked? You don't have enough to handle, say, 100,000 throughout a 24-hour period? That is normal.

And, since Digg is overrated, sort of like posting on message boards, but not quite as bad, don't worry about it. You have plenty.

Try it and see what happens. Who knows. But, don't hold your breath. :)

Digg traffic never amounts to anything. I got tens of thousand of hits from one story and got a few cents in Adsense clicks. Completely wasted time and effort. Hence, no further meddling with Digg.

Good for SEO and getting your new site out like a press release.

    Not necessarily good for conversions.

Like many things in the online biz ladies. It's a piece in the puzzle.

    2 cents.

it's not bad, but it's not great. I wouldn't spend too much time on it...

I think the only payoff is really to be featured on the front page, and getting stormed by ppl... it'll put you on the map, but getting there is quite hard.

I for one think it's great in the early stages of development. After that it kinda wears off.

Digg visitors are not much ad clickers, so don't expect some big increase in earnings...
