The bird flu, H5N1 virus is slowly reaching all Europe.
Here in Portugal we have no registered cases yet but chicken sales had already dropped down by 15% or something like that, i read it on a newspapper.

Is your country afected by the H5N1 virus and everybody is paranoid about it?

This bird flu is dangerous. 4 persons have died in India due to this bird flu. We personally are suffering a huge loss due to bird flu.

Our family business is Poultry Farming. Prices of chickens have dropped upto 65% and for eggs they have dropped by around 40%. We've a total of 1,00,000 birds in our two farms and we've a daily production of around 80k eggs. We are loosing something like $700 daily due to this flu. This season has gone really BAD.

I really hope that this thing vanishes fast, good for peoples health and our business as well.

oh!...sorry sumit! the damage caused to you due to bird epidemic is stunning.
One has to considere the huge loss...Let us hope this epidemic will be eradicated by suitable means.....for computer it is virus...for stomach filling it is bird flu. Both are an obstacles....

Maybe it was not this kind of virus...The problems with H5N1 are two:
People can catch bird flu from the animals.
There isn't a 100% garanteed drug to kil this virus, the tamiflu some say is not 100% the cure for it...

Animals always had diseases but there are few that they transmit to people
