Islam in question - A Court Ordered Gang Rape

This tragedy was caused by assholes and ignorant men, NOT representatives of the Islamic culture.

Its the same in the case of Christian leaders that are convicted sex offenders and the "christian" war mongerers that follow the Wolfowitz Doctrine ... the people involved are assholes, not solid representations of their respective religions.

There's nothing wrong with Christianity or Islam, just some of the assclowns that pretend to represent them.

I just remembered a discussion I had, kinda related. I was asked "What is wrong with Democracy?"

I replied, "Ah...nothing?"

I was told a story: 5 people are stuck in an elevator. 4 men, 1 woman. A man makes a motion to rape the woman, it is seconded and voted on. 4 for (the men) 1 against (obviously the woman). The woman is raped.

In this case where an ideology is abused to apply local tyranny shouldn't be motivation to dissolve the whole system.

Ditto. What about all the mailmen <insert PC BS>(postal carriers)</a> that have sex with little boys? What about all the firemen? What about all the contruction workers? What about all the actors? There is a pedophile is just about every profession.

I grew up Catholic, was an alter boy, the whole nine yards. Never once did I encounter a pedophile preist. Quite a few drunks and heavy smokers, but never a pedophile.

Tesla hit it right on the head. This was a group of individuals. In all nations and in all religions there are those who do evil things under the guise of faith. There are also those who are truly devout and would never even concieve such an action. Often people of ill intent disguise themselves and even convince or delude themselves with religion.
