Isn't it too much of adsense?

    Hello,

I've been reading this forum for quite a while and i learned a lot here, though i still cannot achieve the results i would expect.

Can you please take a look at www.votetheday.com (sorry, the links do not work for me yet).

I would like any suggestions on colors (i could even change colors of the site itself if you find something can help), and of course placement of the ads. Any other notes are welcome too :)

By the way, isn't that half banner surrounded by the text blended in too much? I hope this will not put me in trouble, right?

Thanks in advance for any tips/reviews. Hope to actively participate here from now on :)

    oh, sorry guys! :D

it's that article, i don't put adsense on pages containing possibly too adult content. Sorry for taking your time, you can see ads on http://www.votetheday.com/world-6/ for example.

I just don't feel comfortable displaying adsense on "adult diapers" or "philips sex toys", so i dont place ads on those articles. They are working ok on the other pages however :)

    Thanks nandalinnaung,

i'm getting pretty low CTR though.. let's say up to 1%... Don't know what's the problem.

However i have managed to improve my EPC, it used to be as low as $.03 per average click and now it's much much better. Will post some tips on that later.

Well, today i got about 400 page impressions (data from adsense) and not a single click.. I do not understand what's wrong. Most of the ad's are so perfectly relevant, though nobody seems to be interested in anything..

Simple, your visitors are web-savvy and/or blind to ads.
