issues with amazon associates

hi, i have adsense on my website and tried to ad an amazon associates ad too. i did it the same way as adsense, where i copied the code to my page. however i get an X and no ad shows for amazon. the link still works because if i click on it, it goes to amazon. why isnt the ad showing? any idea?

my website is www.whois-barack-obama.com. at this point i have removed all amazon ads and only have google adsense on it.

if you have had this problem in the past, i'd appreciate your advice. thanks.

 

What I've noticed is that I would sometimes get that Internet Explorer can't open the site (www.mysite.com) and I think it is because both scripts are trying to write to the document at the same time. so what I do is put adsense on some pages and amazon on others.

What type of "X" A red one indicating a missing image? If so, you need to copy the image from Amazon so that it is local on your server...you have to do this for the "inbetween" ads, ie, if you choose the one between the low text only and the high end javascript version.

Since the problem seems to be with Amazon and not Adsense, this really should be over in that forum.
