Actually it was true...It was on just about every major news site.

Seems surreal but after all the news stories came out, I didn't see anything to say it wasn't real

Your link isn't working for me but here was the story:

If you ask me the people doing that deserve to be dragged in the ocean until they're dead by the vary same hooks they use on those dogs.

Animal cruelty makes me just as pissed as reading about rape and racism. People disgust me.

OH my god, first I heard of that. At first it makes me disgusted, then I tried to think about if it's something common in the culture, something going on for centuries, then I turned back to disgust. Anyone know if this is a long standing use in this area? The only reason I ask is because every country is different, we eat plenty of cows and pigs in the states, other countries are disgusted with this thought which makes me 'try' to be a bit more open.

If this happened in the states though I'd hope the parties doing such would be thrown directly in jail, after being found guilty in a court of law of course.

They still eat dogs in China as far as I know, we simply see them as cute little yapping animals although the Hindu's would probably be disgusted at us for eat the sacred cow.

Its minor cultural differences and misunderstanding that make the world the mess it is, being more open minded is something sadly a lot of people need to be rather than just opening their mouths.

With regards to using dogs as shark bait... Alive no, dead yea, why not, they use other dead animals as bait why not dogs, dont get me wrong I love the little fuzzy bundles of joy so dont get mad at me :)

Forgot if it was China but I actually watched something on that once, made me sick to my stomach but I tried to be understanding as all cultures are different.

I think the point here, is that live dogs move...

    Sharks are attracted to movement.
